DYNAMIC LINK ADAPTATION FOR TIME DIVISION DUPLEX (TDD)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide TDD User Equipment (UE) which enables dynamic link adaptation. SOLUTION: The UE system performs dynamic link adaptation by adding or changing control information to notify a receiver of currently active timeslots and codes and of timeslots to be avoided. The UE provides synchronization such that the receiver knows the timeslots and codes used by the UE to map coded composite transport channel into physical channels. The UE attempts to avoid the timeslots which have experiences in transmission difficulties, while attempting to utilize the timeslots having no experiences in transmission problems.
