PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent spam and pretending of a facsimile terminal in an Internet facsimile system. SOLUTION: A variable password which is changed in accordance with a prescribed rule is set to an electronic mail transmitted and received between a facsimile terminal 2A and a mail server 1A, and coincidence is confirmed to dtermine a facsimile document from the facsimile terminal 2A being not pretending, and an attribute of priority of emergency, security, or the like of the facsimile document attached to the electronic mail is made to correspond to the variable password, and priority information or the like of the transmitted facsimile document is transmitted without being known by third persons, and thus spam and pretending of facsimile terminals are prevented.
