PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electret driver capable of reducing noise at the driving of a shutter, an optical apparatus, an electronic apparatus having an electrostatic driver, and a camera. SOLUTION: Electret shutter 40 comprises a front curtain 43a, a rear curtain 43b and stators 46a, 46b on which driving electrodes for respectively driving the front curtain 43a and the rear curtain 43b are arranged. The front curtain 43a, the rear curtain 43b and the stators 46a, 46b are held so as to be put between a base board 41 and a cover 42 which are constituted of a conductive material. Then the base board 41 and the cover 42 are connected to the ground of an electret control driver of a camera body, by fixing them on fitting parts 29a to 29d of a chassis 27 by fixing screws 56a to 56d.
