PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watthour meter adaptor capable of restraining a cost while allowing replacement work for a watthour meter without stopping power supply, not getting large spatially, and allowing easily switching between a short-circuiting condition and a non-short-circuiting condition. SOLUTION: This adaptor comprises an adaptor main body B attached to the watthour meter A or electric wires K, K, etc., adjacent to the watthour meter A, and a connector C for attaching detachably one of them to the adaptor main body B, and a cover body D, the adaptor main body B is provided with connecting parts L, L, etc., connected to the respective electric wires K, K, etc., to form a by-pass circuit, and opening parts 5, 5, etc., of a recessed hole shape in upper parts of the connecting parts L, L., etc, and the foregoing connector C is provided with connection pieces 6, 6, etc., protruded outwards with connection ends 6a 6a, etc., connected to the connecting parts L, L, etc., through the opening parts 5, 5, etc., of a recessed hole shape.
