PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the hydraulic cylinder for a hydraulic elevator that can be maintained such as inspection, replacement etc., processed and assembled easily even in a narrow setting area. SOLUTION: The hydraulic cylinder is composed of a cylinder tube having the bottom side flange part and the rod side flange part fixed to a tube, a base end block where one end face is fixed to a floor face and other end face is fixed to the cylinder tube to the attachment or remove free, a rod piston fixed to the top part on the side of a base end block at the inside diameter part of the cylinder tube, a piston rod installing the rod piston and being supported to the sliding movement free with the cylinder tube, the cylinder tube that can be attached or removed freely to the base end block by a hollow pin and the tube piston that is accommodated in the hollow of the piston rod by fixing it to the tube.
