PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core pin for a die capable of being inexpensively produced by eliminating the waste of material cost and working cost. SOLUTION: The edge part on the side opposite to a product forming part 11 in a core pin body is swelled to the circumferential direction by beating to form a locking step part 12. The locking step part is inserted into a locking recessed part B' formed at the bottom part of a pin installation hole B in a die A, so as to be locked thereto. Alternatively, on this side of the locking step part 12, a thickness control collar 2 is mounted, or a thickness control spacer is provided, and it is formed so as to be suited to the depth of the locking recessed part B' in the pin installation hole B formed inn the die A by the thickness control collar 2 or thickness control spacer.
