PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave imaging system capable of forming a high quality image by reducing the complexity of calculation. SOLUTION: The imaging system 10 includes an optical (visible light or near IR) imaging system 100 and a microwave imaging system 200. The optical imaging system catches an optical image of an object 20, generates optical image data 165 representing the optical image, and extracts optical image information 175 from the optical image data.
