METHOD FOR PRODUCING ANILINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing aniline by which staining of an aniline distillation column can be reduced and long-term stable operation can be carried out to reduce the aniline lost by entraining with high-boiling substances when the aniline is produced. SOLUTION: The method for producing the aniline comprises dehydrating an aniline solution containing water and obtained by reducing nitrobenzene with hydrogen and then distilling the resultant dehydrated crude aniline with a distillation column. The method is characterized as follows. A part of the bottom product of the distillation column is evaporated with an evaporator separate from a reboiler of the distillation column. The evaporated gas is circulated to the distillation column and the unevaporated high-boiling substances are taken out of the evaporator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
