The invention relates to a combination of radio waves and pharmacologically active substances selected from the group containing a) monoclonal antibodies and/or b) tyrosine-kinase inhibitors and/or c) angiogenesis inhibitors and/or d) farnesyl-transferase inhibitors and/or e) topoisomerase-I or topoisomerase-II inhibitors and/or f) cytokine and/or g) antisense oligonucleotides, optionally together with at least one chemotherapeutic agent. The invention also relates to the use of said combination for the prophylaxis and/or treatment of cancer, tumours and metastases.
