The blower has a housing (12) and over an axis of rotation (A) a ring-like extending channel (16) is within the housing. A wheel (18) is swivellingly carried at the housing and the channel is covered around an axis of rotation (A) of the wheel. The wheel is sequentially moved in a circumferential direction. An opening and outlet are provided for the channel. In the direction of motion an interruption area (32) is provided for interruption in the channel in a circumferential direction. A connection channel arrangement makes a connection between the output and the opening.
