PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently radiate heat by making the temperature gradient of an image pickup device equal. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is provided with an image pickup device, an image pickup device 21 provided in the circumference of the image pickup device 21, a frame 23 in which a lead terminal 23c formed of insulating material outstanding from the circumference and electrically connected to the image pickup device 21, and a plate 22 having the image pickup device 21 on an undersurface opposite to a light entering surface.
