PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suitable imaging by realizing transmitting and receiving of a stable signal between a network camera and a sensor with a relatively simple configuration and automatically determining an imaging region, when a fault occurs in an object to be monitored in a network camera system for monitoring to a crime prevention or maintenance by imaging with the network camera. SOLUTION: The network camera system includes a lamp wire network which can supply a power (2), the network cameras (4a, 4b) connected to the lamp wire network, and monitoring sensors (5a-5e) connected to the network camera through the lamp wire network. The sensor generates a fault detection signal including identification information of the sensor when the fault of the object to be monitored is detected. The network camera receives the fault detection signal through the lamp wire network, and determines the imaging region on the basis of the identification information of the sensor.
