PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a remote monitoring system capable of more improving the visibility of status data displayed on a display screen positionally integrally with a monitor image. SOLUTION: A monitoring image (PCT) in an area to be monitored and detected status data (DAT) are respectively stored in respective storage means (21, 22) together with an identification state (URL). A master template (M-TMP) for regulating a display parameter such as a virtual size is prepared on the basis of the number of monitoring images and the number of status data to be displayed. A current template (C-TMP) is prepared by padding the monitoring image and the identification information of the status data in the master template. The current template is transmitted to a display terminal (30), and the display terminal (30) acquires the monitoring image and the status data by using the identification information, normalizes the status data, regulates a coordinate system, pads the status data in the current template, and attaches the monitoring image.
