PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system for vehicles which realizes safe and comfortable light distribution for drivers and pedestrians. SOLUTION: The lighting system of vehicles which lights forward a vehicle comprises a plurality of light sources each of which lights different area to form a predetermined light distribution pattern as a whole and a controller which figures out traffic scenes in which the vehicle runs and varies at least one of directions or intensity of the plural light sources independently to form target light distribution patterns preset dependently on the traffic scenes.
