PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive film with which a flexible metal-clad laminate inhibited from suffering a dimensional change is obtained through laminating, the flexible metal-clad laminate which is obtained by bonding with a metal foil, and a methid for producing the same. SOLUTION: The adhesive film comprises an adhesive layer containing a thermoplastic polyimide formed on at least one side of a polyimide film, wherein the coefficients of linear expansion of the adhesive film satisfy the relationship: 1.0≥(coefficient of MD (machine direction) linear expansion)/(coefficient of TD (transverse direction) linear expansion)≥0.1 (the coefficients of linear expansion is at 100-200°C), and the above problems are solved by the adhesive film.
