PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting element with high light emission efficiency in spite of its singlet light emission. SOLUTION: On the organic light-emitting element at least composed of an anode, an organic layer, and a cathode, a transition time of light-emitting molecules, forming a light emission layer as a part of the organic layer which emits light by injection of electric charge, from a triplet state of excitation Tk to a triplet state of excitation Tk-1 lower than the triplet state of excitation Tk is longer than 1 nsec and shorter than 30 msec.
