PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium for precise filtration, secondary adjustment of voids of which can be easily performed, and strength of which is increased to easily perform back washing, and in which desired separation function is attained and the function is maintained for a long period of time. SOLUTION: This filter medium 1-1 comprises membranes or layers having a lot of voids 3, and separates coexisting fine particles by allowing only treating object to pass through the voids 3.
