PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bidirectional infusion pump with volume braking for hydraulically controlling an adjustable gastric band. SOLUTION: An artificial sphyncter muscle system 10 implantable for the weight reducing therapy makes a long-time adjustment by the transdermal energy transmission, so that the invasive adjustment by the addition or removal of a liquid by a syringe is reduced to the minimum. An infusion device 40 is the combination of thermodynamically actuation and piezoelectric drum brake assemblies, and a liquid is transferred in two directions via a conduit 42 to a sphyncter muscle band 20 of the gastric band 50, so that the small-capacity device can be provided. Pores are formed between an upper region 22 and a lower region of the stomach of a patient to delay passage of food and to make the patient feel fullness. As the drum brake assemblies activate a piezoelectric stack actuator which disengages a caliper from a brake drum attached to the bellows accumulator, the position of the metal bellows accumulator is locked by the adjustment by the thermodynamic actuation.
