PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even the elderly having a feeble force to easily open a slide type upper lid having a long moving stroke. SOLUTION: When the upper lid 2 opening/closing a laundry supply opening formed in the upper face of an outer box is in a closed position, an engagement pin 23 erected in the back face of the lid body 20 comes into contact with a spring 31 stretched to the outer box side and pulls it frontward. The lid body 20 is thus applied with a rearward force by the energizing force of the spring 31 and, when the user pushes a lid opening button to detach a latch of the upper lid 2 by a latch/locking mechanism, the upper lid 2 spontaneously starts to slide. When the upper lid 2 is opened to some extent and the energizing force of the spring becomes to decrease, both two weights 21 and 22 dividedly provided in the interior of the lid body 20 enter in a downward suspended region L, so that the upper lid 2 further slides rearward and smoothly opened by the weight applied to the weights 21 and 22.
