<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately alter a printing magnification in an image forming apparatus in which the printing magnification at which image data is outputted to the back of paper in double-sided printing can be altered. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 has a fixing device 23, and includes a paper feed cassette 3, a storage section 13, a humidity sensor 7, a control section 11, and an image forming section 5. The storage section 13 is capable of storing image data to be outputted to both sides of paper. The humidity sensor 7 detects humidity. Based upon humidity detected by the humidity sensor 7 and a given length of time from the storage of paper in the paper feed cassette 3 to the output of image data to the paper, the control section determines the printing magnification at which the image data is outputted to the back of the paper.
