摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a detection error caused by a processing tolerance of a sensor, by highly accurately correcting a detecting result of the sensor for detecting rotation of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine in a hybrid type vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In motoring for traveling only by driving force of a motor by stopping the internal combustion engine, the crankshaft is rotated at a constant rotating speed by controlling rotation of the motor. Afterwards, actual time t_NEJ required for rotating an angle until the next cylinder becomes TDC after a certain cylinder becomes the TDC (during TDC), is measured on the basis of an NE signal (S250). While, reference time t_NEK being theoretical required time when rotating at the constant rotating speed during the TDC, is calculated in advance (S230). A temporary correction quantity BUF_H_NER corresponding to this TDC is calculated on the basis of a difference between the reference time t_NEK and actual time t_NEJ (S260).
