PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain a high antenna sensitivity even when using a mobile radio terminal in a clothes pocket by devising the shape of a housing and the layout of an antenna. SOLUTION: The housing 2 of a pocket housing type mobile radio terminal 1 is composed of a face A having a plane shape and a face B having a projecting part 2a formed on a part or the whole of a center part thereof, and an antenna element 3 is arranged on the projecting part 2a on the face B in parallel with the face A. Since the face B has a projecting or bending shape, the mobile radio has the face A brought into contact with the user's body side without user's consciousness when the user stores the mobile radio terminal 1 in a clothes pocket and uses it. Therefore, the mobile radio terminal 1 is stored in the clothes pocket in such a state that the antenna element 3 is always in the position farthest from the user's body and is kept off from the user's body. Thus an electromagnetic wave of the antenna element 3 is hardly affected by the user's body, so that the mobile radio terminal 1 can always secure a good antenna gain and a high antenna sensitivity.
