PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage comparator capable of attaining the speeding-up with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The voltage comparator circuit is provided with an input differential stage which inputs a differential voltage from differential input terminals In<SP>+</SP>, In<SP>-</SP>, and has a first differential pair (MP1, MP2) and a second differential pair (MN1, MN2) mutually having reversed polarity; folded cascode type differential stages (MP3, MP4, MP5, MP6, MN3, and MN4) which are connected to the differential output of the input differential stage, and add the differential output signal of the first differential pair and that of the second differential pair; and first/second oppositely arranged current mirror circuits (CM1), (CM2) mutually having reversed polarity which respectively receive differential output of the folded cascode type differential stages in the input, and whose output each other is commonly connected to an output terminal. The folded cascode type differential stages add the differential output signal of the first differential pair and that of the second differential pair, and output the output of the folded cascode type differential stages with the first/second current mirror circuits respectively from a returning output terminal.
