PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitting apparatus for carrying out two-way signal transmission that prevents the voltage of a received single end signal from lowering. SOLUTION: An LVDS driver 11 is connected to a plurality of signal lines L1, L2 and transmits differential signals to the line. A Ds receiver 14 is connected to the signal line L2 that is one of a plurality of the signal lines L1, L2 and receives the single end signal. A voltage VDD1 is applied to the LVDS driver 11. A voltage VDD2 is applied to the Ds receiver 14. Transistors M7, M8, switchingly give the voltages VDD1, VDD2 to back gates of transistors M1, M2 configuring the LVDS driver 11, to which the signal lines L1, L2 are connected.
