PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sector driving device by which, despite simple configuration, a quantity of incident light to a shutter aperture can be adjusted without being affected by diffraction. SOLUTION: The sector driving device includes: shielding sectors 20 and 30 for opening or closing the shutter aperture 3; and an incident light quantity adjustment sector 10 for adjusting a quantity of incident light to the shutter aperture when positioned to close the shutter aperture. An opening 13 larger than the shutter aperture is made in the incident light quantity adjustment sector, and provided with a dimmer filter 15 fitted thereon. This prevents the opening 13 so disposed as to cover the shutter aperture 3 from causing diffraction. Since the opening 13 is provided with the dimmer filter 15, a quantity of incident light to the shutter aperture can be adjusted. By suitably selecting the dimmer filter fitted on the opening, a quantity of incident light to the shutter aperture can be altered to a required one. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
