PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device capable of preventing an excessive increase in secondary side pipe internal pressure of the water supply device in test operation. SOLUTION: This water supply device 1 has a pump 3, an inverter 5 for variably controlling a rotational frequency of the pump 3, and a control part 6 for controlling the inverter 5. The control part 6 controls the rotational frequency of the pump 3 so that the rotational frequency does not increase to a predetermined value or more in the test operation of the pump 3. The control part 6 sets a maximum rotational frequency in the test operation and a maximum rotational frequency in automatic operation so that the maximum rotational frequency in the test operation of the pump 3 becomes lower than the maximum rotational frequency in the automatic operation.
