PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-flexible multi-finger hand which has the size matching with that of the human hand, maintains its finger force in a level equal to that of a human being, and can set the flexibility of the fingers similar to that of the human being. SOLUTION: The multi-flexible multi-finger hand has 11 motors which are arranged on an upper side of a main frame 101, a lower side of the main frame 101, and in a thumb frame 102 separated downward from the main frame 101. In other words, the 11 motors of the multi-flexible multi-finger hand are arranged in three layers. Thus the palm of the hand can be downsized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
