PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of cracks parallel to the sheet face of the material to be worked generated at the wall face of a stamped hole in the case a metal sheet is subjected to stamping. SOLUTION: The stamping tool is composed of a punch and a die, and is used to working for forming an opening part with a closed contour shape on a metal sheet material to a direction vertical to the sheet face; all lines composing the edges of the punch are arranged obliquely to the sheet face; the cutting edge face with the lines as the circumference is composed of one plane; and the cutting face makes an angle of≤80°to the axis of the punch.
