PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for forming a mold by using an optical molding model as a master. SOLUTION: This method is the forming method for mold by using the optical molding model with the following processes, in which (a) process for forming the mold including the model by using the optical molding model as the master, (b) process for allowing to contact with solvent selected from group composed of organic solvent and inorganic oxidizing agent solution, and (c) process for removing the model from the mold before melting this model.
