<p>The present invention relates to the use of aspartic acid for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for enhancing growth of bone matter. The aspartic acid may be in a salt form, having a counter ion selected from calcium, carbonate, phosphate and hydroxyl ions. The invention further provides pharmaceutical compositions and a method for enhancing growth of bone matter in a subject in need thereof.</p> |
