The method involves producing a plasma jet in a working gas containing a reactive gas by atmospheric discharge. The jet is directed towards an inorganic layer to partially melt the layer. The melted layer is removed from component surface by a gas flow of the jet. A voltage discharge is produced between electrodes of a plasma nozzle under application of high voltage and working gas is excited to release plasma jet from the nozzle. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a method for gluing two components with a gluing surface; and (B) a device for producing an atmospheric plasma beam.
