PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-type angular velocity sensor capable of effectively reducing the influence of superimposed noises on a synchronous detection process for angular velocity signals which employs a vibration drive waveform, even while diverting the same vibration drive waveform to a boost clock signal of a booster circuit.
SOLUTION: A boost clock signal generating section 6k generates the boost clock signal of the boost circuit 4 that has been previously defined, as a signal having a frequency identical to that of a detection clock signal, based on the vibration drive waveform of a vibrator. The boost clock signal generating section 6k has a phase changing means 6a, which delays or advances the boost clock signal relative to the detection clock signal by a prescribed angle and outputs it. Therefore, even if the noise caused by the boost clock signal is superimposed on a sine wave signal for generating the detection clock signal, the noise edges appear at positions different from those of transition edges of the detection clock signal, whereby the chattering or the like in the detection clock signal is made less likely to be generated, and the detection precision of the angular velocity signal can be improved.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
