<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable composition for optical disks excellent in preservation stability and curability and suffering from no discoloration during preservation, to provide a discoloration-preventing agent comprising a compound bearing a mercapto group for the ultraviolet-curable composition for optical disks, and to provide an optical disk comprising a light reflecting layer composed of silver or a silver alloy and, formed thereon, a cured film of the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curable composition for optical disks comprises a compound represented by formula (I) (wherein either one of R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>4</SB>is a hydrogen atom and the other is a 3-12C alkyl group optionally having a branched chain; and either one of R<SB>2</SB>and R<SB>3</SB>is a hydrogen atom and the other is a 3-12C alkyl group optionally having a branched chain), and the compound bearing the mercapto group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
