<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an increased driving force applied to an operating member for closing a door in a final part for moving the door to a door closed position, act in the substantially right-angled direction to the moving direction of the operating member. <P>SOLUTION: This door closing device has a fixed assembly 10 installed to a door frame, an operation assembly 30 hinged to the door frame and installed at a plate thickness part of the door, the operating member 22 connected to the fixed assembly 10 by a continuously contacting link 20, a resilient driving device for pulling the door up to a door closed position to the door frame by applying the driving force to the operating member, a damper mechanism 50 for damping the movement of the operating member in the direction for turning to a pulling-in position, and a resilient thrust device 90 for applying the increased driving force to the operating member in a limited part of a moving range in response to the approach of the operating member to the pulling-in position.
