PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make transfer of nursery boxes smooth and prevent root pots of seedlings from collapsing. SOLUTION: The subject seedling transplanter 10 is equipped with a seedling-extruding apparatus 13 installed under an inclined seedling-placing table 14 for transferring the nursery boxes and a planting apparatus 12 for planting the seedlings N extruded from these nursery boxes 1 by the seedling-extruding apparatus 13 into soil. In the seedling transplanter 10, a tank 27 for storing water in a machine body 11 is loaded and a nozzle 25 having a discharge port 25c for scattering water toward the seedling-placing table 14 is connected through water-supplying hoses 26 and 30 to the tank 27 and a pump 31 for supplying water into the nozzle 25 is interposingly installed in the water-supplying hoses 26 and 30.
