<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap of having a hinge which is hardly damaged. <P>SOLUTION: This cap is an integral article comprising a cap main body 12, a lid 14 and a hinge 16 connecting the outer circumferential surfaces of the cap main body 12 and the lid 14 to each other. The lid 14 can be turned through the hinge 16 in respect to the cap main body 12 between a closed state where the lid 14 covers the upper surface of the cap main body 12 and an opened state where the lid 14 exposes the upper surface of the cap main body 12. The hinge 16 is comprised of a major hinge 18 and a pair of resilient bands 20 arranged at both sides of the major hinge 18. Grooves 14d extending along a vertical direction of the lid 14 are formed at the inner circumferential surface of the lid 14 corresponding to a part near the outer circumferential surface of the lid 14 to which the resilient bands 20 are connected. In addition, the major hinge 18 is provided with a bent part 18a bent at the time of turning of the lid 14 and becoming a center of turning. In addition, a groove 18b is formed in parallel with a bent part 18a. When the lid 14 is subjected to a motion other than a regular turning motion in respect to the cap main body 12, it is restricted that the grooves 14d, 18b are restricted against deformation and stress is prevented from being concentrated at the hinge 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
