<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer capable of securing reliability for command data and shortening transmitting time for transmitting the instruction data. <P>SOLUTION: The microcomputer (2) being a kind of a microcomputer with a failsafe output function comprises a bus (20), an operation section (10) connected with the bus (20), and an output section (50) connected with the bus (20) and external devices (3, 4). The operation section (10) outputs the instruction data (101) for controlling the external device (3) and diagnoses data (102) obtained by inverting the command data (101).
