<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arithmetic unit capable of easily recognizing a resource that is referred to in a print job, a print server capable of transmitting only resources not present in a printer to the printer, and a method, program and storage medium used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The arithmetic unit 202 comprises a processor, a memory electronically communicating with the processor and a printer driver 206 stored in the memory.
