<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use light emitted from a light emitting portion in a lighting apparatus in which a plurality of light emitting panels are provided, and to thereby prevent a portion facing toward a non-light-emitting portion between adjacent light emitting panels from becoming dim. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus 12 comprises a plurality of light emitting panels 13 each having a light emitting portion 14 that emits isotropic light and a non-light-emitting portion 15 provided around the light emitting portion 14. The light emitting panels 13 are arranged such that the respective non-light-emitting portions 15 are adjacent to each other. The light emitting panels 13 are each bonded to a transparent flat-plate-shaped dimness-eliminating member 21 via an adhesive 22 on the side of a transparent substrate 16, and the dimness-eliminating member 21 is disposed on the light emitting side of the light emitting panels 13 at positions corresponding to the plurality of light emitting panels 13. The dimness-eliminating member 21 has V-shaped grooves 23 formed on the surface thereof facing toward the light emitting panels 13 at positions corresponding to the non-light-emitting portions 15 of adjacent light emitting panels 13 and a portion located therebetween. The V-shaped grooves 23 are formed so that the quantity of light emitted from a position of the dimness-eliminating member 21 corresponding to the light emitting portion 14 and the quantity of light emitted from a position corresponding to the non-light-emitting portion 15 are equal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
