<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain engagement shock and generation of heat when a starting clutch released in traveling is engaged again. <P>SOLUTION: After the starting clutch is released and is cooled in deceleration operation (A to B), engine torque is increased, an engine rotating speed Ne which is a clutch input shaft rotating speed is controlled to be synchronized with a clutch output shaft rotating speed (primary pulley rotating speed Nt of a continuously variable transmission) (C), and then, the clutch is engaged with a clutch engagement pressure in correspondence with the engine torque (D). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
