<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of "jail" in implanting a stent in a bifurcated blood vessel. <P>SOLUTION: The stent 100b has a first opening end 102 and a second opening end 104. The stent lattice takes a collapsed state or a dilated state, and has a plurality of adjacent hoops 106. Each hoop has a plurality of adjacent loops 110 which are connected by a plurality of bridges 114b. The lattice has a plurality of extension parts 118. Each hoop, bridge and extension part define a cell 120b. At least one cell is disposed in the proximal end portion, the distal end portion and the middle portion of the lattice respectively, and the at least one cell in the middle portion has larger spacing between adjacent hoops than the spacing between adjacent hoops of the at least one cell in the proximal end portion or in the distal end portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
