<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an outside dimension of a hot water storage tank to easily mount the hot water storage tank in parallel by constituting a structure for protecting a connecting terminal part such as a heating element in the hot water storage tank so as not to allow the same to project to the circumference of the tank. <P>SOLUTION: In this hot water storage type electric water heater 1 comprising the heating element 7 composed of a heating body part 13 and a connection terminal part 14, a water supply pipe 8 for supplying the water, and a hot water supply pipe 9 for discharging the hot water in the hot water storage tank 2 having the flat shape as a whole, a recessed part (cylindrical member 10) is formed on a side wall 4 of the hot water storage tank 2, the heating body part 13 of the heating element 7 is faced to the recessed part in the hot water storage tank 2, and the connecting terminal part 14 of the heating element 7 is mounted in the recessed part so that it is not projected from a side wall 4 face of the hot water storage tank 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
