POWER CONVERSION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus which improves heat dissipation to a semiconductor used for power conversion.

SOLUTION: A power-conversion module 1 mounted to a hybrid car etc. is provided with a switching element (semiconductor part) 22 used for power conversion; a module case 20 which covers the switching element 22; and a channel 2p provided in the vicinity of the switching element 22 to make cooling air from a flow-in port 20a formed at the module case 20 to a flow-out port 20b. A structure like this is capable of carrying out the heat dissipation Ra of the switching element 22 through a filler material 29 with the cooling air flowing through the channel 2p to improve the heat dissipation to the semiconductor.
