PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer capable of obtaining high isolation with simple structure. SOLUTION: The optical multiplexer/demultiplexer has a dielectric multilayer film type light filter 21 which is constituted by forming dielectric multilayer films 23, 24 on both surfaces of a glass substrate 22, a first collimating lens 25 which is connected with one dielectric multilayer film and which has an optical fiber 27 for an incident port and an optical fiber 28 for a reflective port and a 2nd collimating lens 26 which is connected with another dielectric multilayer film. In the optical multiplexer/demultiplexer 20, the glass substrate has thickness with which reflected light from the another dielectric multilayer film does not combine with the optical fiber for the reflective port.
