PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize constitution suitable for high speed responsiveness and size reduction while simplifying the constitution, in a temperature sensor having a port part extended projectedly outwards from a case and for detecting a temperature in a tip part of the port part. SOLUTION: This temperature sensor 100 includes the case 10, an infrared detecting part 20 stored in the case 10 to detect the temperature in response to a received infrared ray, the port part 30 extended outwards from the case 10, and a heat receiving part 40 provided in the tip part of the port part 30 and for receiving heat in the periphery of the tip part to generate an infrared ray, and detects a peripheral temperature in the tip part of the port part 30, by receiving the infrared ray generated in the heat receiving part 40, with the infrared detecting part 20, through an inside of the port part 30.
