PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact-type ductilometer for measuring the inter-marker elongation, which is a ductilometer equipped with a strain sensitive plate and prevents a repulsive force caused by the strain of the strain-sensitive plate from affecting the test result. SOLUTION: In the ductilometer, the strain sensitive plate 5 disposed at one arm 2 is pressed against by using a pressing member 7 disposed at the other arm 3, and the elongation of a test piece W is accurately measured from the amount of strain of the strain-sensitive plate 5 in a small elongation region, by utilizing such a phenomenon that the amount of stain is varied by the elongation of the test piece W. The ductilometer is further equipped with a magnet 10, which generates an attractive force between the one arm 2 and the pressing member 7, thereby canceling the repulsive force caused by the strain of the strain-sensitive plate 5, and preventing the repulsive force from affecting the test result.
