<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply analyze the jaw movement of an examinee by utilizing a general-purpose image pickup instrument or image processing device and applying an optical motion capture technique. <P>SOLUTION: A computer system executes one after another a process (steps S1-S3) for acquiring a color imaging data imaging the situation of the jaw movement of a subject to whom a colored marker is mounted on a prescribed position of the jaw, a process (steps S5, S6) for presenting the acquired color imaging data, accepting the marker range designation, extracting the color of the marker included in the designated range and producing a template for retrieval, a process (step S7) for automatically following the marker mounted on the examinee's jaw by comparing the marker included in the color imaging data with the template, and a process (steps S11-S13) for image processing the acquired tracking image and outputting the subject jaw movement tracking data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
