<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of connecting by tightening without requiring large force, preventing it from coming off even when strong pulling-out force in the direction of shaft axis is applied to a pipe, and connecting securely and firmly. <P>SOLUTION: This pipe joint is provided with a joint main body 13 having a male screw part 19, a cap nut 5 attached to the male screw part 19 by screwing, and a C-shaped locking ring 1 having one gap at the circumference and arranged in a tapered part 6 of a hole part 25 of the cap nut 5. The locking ring 1 has a holding female part provided by passing through from its inner peripheral face 1c to an outer peripheral face 1b. A rotor 32 held rotatably around a shaft axis L<SB>31</SB>parallel with a shaft axis L of the pipe 12, abutting on the tapered part 6 of the hole part 25 of the cap nut 5, and forming a peripheral channel 4 on an outer peripheral face 12a of the pipe 12 to be connected by plastic deformation is provided in the holding female part.
