<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle motor provided with a compact and thin fluid dynamic bearing capable of improving reliability of lubricating oil scattering and flowing-out prevention performance for impact and vibration applied, in particular, when a rotary shaft is stationary. <P>SOLUTION: An enlarged opening part 33 is formed toward an opening part w side of a sleeve 7 from a position m apart slightly from a terminal on one side of a channel 24 for generating dynamic pressure, and a first large diameter part 31a, a peripheral channel 32 for stopping lubricating oil, and a second large diameter part 31b are sequentially formed toward an opening part w from the terminal of the enlarged opening part 33. In the peripheral channel 32 for stopping lubricating oil, its opening is formed to widen toward the direction of the rotary shaft 11, and one side face 32b on a second large diameter part side forms a lubricating oil rebounding wall face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
