PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate tilting mechanism part for a compressor and a compressor capable of controlling friction of a shaft caused by slide of a swash plate on a drive shaft.

SOLUTION: Chemical conversion coating treatment by manganese phosphate or the like is applied to at least one side (particularly a surface of a sliding part) of a swash plate tilting mechanism part, which leads to improvement in wear resistance with respect to a swash plate 27.
